Grace is undeserved favor... and who else can grant us this beautiful Grace but God... Yes, He is the only one who grants us Grace... not by our good works but by His Grace, we are set free from the bondage of sins.
Andy Stanley has delivered this beautiful book with a captivating explanation of divine Grace, making it delightful and awesome. The Grace of God is compelling, the alluring beautiful words well written. This book is amazing, he explained the in-depth study of grace, to allow us to understand how much God has given us and His unconditional love for us too.
Grace is a beautiful word and as Andy Stantley depicts the word Grace, it is very much needed when his guilt is exposed. What he have written is very true... when we are guilty, we feel ashamed to come to God to ask for His forgiveness. We know God's grace is abundant and Grace is actually bigger than compassion or forgiveness, as Andy has written.
Through this book I have come to understand the extension of God's Grace upon our lives... Grace is not earned.. it is given... Grace is the offer of exactly what we do not deserve.
Reading Andy's book Grace of God has put a light in our lives... we need grace.. we need God...

Outlive Your Life
The title of this book captivated me when I was browsing over some other books, Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado is a book to look for. It has sort of "exposed" me to humans whom I have not given a thought before, this story is so touching. This book is very touching, it opens my eyes on how much kindness one can give to another. With a little bit of kindness, we can change lives. God turns all bad things or situations into a good ending, reversing what the fallen world has given us. Max Lucado has done it again, reading this book led me to think that life is indeed very precious. This is a good read, I will recommend it to anyone and everyone, this is a book that can change lives. Let us be humble, let us be kind to others as we want others to be kind to us. These people who make life more beautiful deserve to have remarkable lives and praises from God.

You Changed My Life
You Changed My Life by Max Lucado, I would greatly love to recommend this book for anyone, everyone, young or elderly alike. This book is about real life touching short stories that will capture hearts, they are simply remarkable. They are real life people, like you and me, but with remarkable hearts. You will be amazed to know that there are so many people with unselfish and generous lives who are willing to sacrifice their self being to be a comfort to others.
One that touches me is A Remarkable Love, it is about a man who was injured in a fire trying to save his parents. Unfortunately, they perished and this man's face was badly burned and disfigured. He went into seclusion, even his wife was not permitted to see him. One day his wife went to see a Dr. Maltz, earnestly pleading with the doctor to "disfigure" her face so that she can be like her husband. What amazing love!
Will we ever be able to do that? Because she wants to share his husband's pain, she is willing sacrifice her face as well and hoping her husband would let her into his life again.

Same Kind Of Different As Me
Same Kind Of Different As Me... this book is very unique in a way, even the title of the book has given an impression that it is simple and yet it is different, unlike all books I have read.
From the first pages of this book, I was taken into the time where the blacks were "un-named" and this guy Denver Moore is one of them.
From young, traumatized by the death of his beloved grandmother and to the years he ran off to a new state with less than $20 in his pocket, he encountered much in his life. Talking to a white is so difficult, let alone making friends. But eventually he found a true friend in Ron Hall, an international art dealer who went into mission with his wife. Together they became firm friends with Denver, breaking him out of his "shell", giving him back the confidence and they walked the journey with God by their side.
This book really brings about emotions of faith and friendship between two men despite the difficulties in life against all odds.
