Girl Talk With God

This book is one of the best Christian books I have ever read. "Best" in the sense of relation, this book is practically related to me and my teenage girl. Girl Talk With God is not only for girls to read, it is suitable for mothers or fathers as well, in fact it is a family sort of book where it brings an understanding between the parents and their kids.



As we all know, at this growing stage, girls and boys are vulnerable to the changes in their lives. The phase they are growing through at this time is between child and adulthood and there are many hindrances and differences between the two generations. Susie Shellenberger, the author writes about how the communication should be, she puts her mind into an understanding of a girl and she speaks to God and how God relate to her. It is indeed an eye-opening and yet private conversation that takes place in most girls' mind and heart and how they relate to God Himself.

Reading this book can lead my girl to a better understanding of God, I am sure of that. She might not know how to create a conversation with God earlier on but I dare say when she finishes reading this, she will definitely turn to God in all things that come her way.

The Secrets Beneath

The book I received not too long ago is the first fiction book I ordered from Booksneeze. The Secrets Beneath by Kathleen Fuller is suitable for younger generation and my son had finished reading it within a few days.

It is about a young girl, Bekah who has a suspicious mind of what's-going-on next door, her neighbour. Her curiousity landed her to search deeper into the suspicious especially when she saw a stranger sneaking into a deserted house next door and her curiosity arose further when her cousin, Amanda came to stay all of a sudden. No one told her anything, not even her parents and she was more determined to get into the mystery. Both Bekah and Amanda were not in good terms and tried to get out of each other's way.

Troubles began when Bekah tried to find out who the man was and why he was there, she almost landed herself in trouble trying to resolve the mystery. Finally all turned out well, no one was hurt, both Bekah and Amanda had found a new kind of friendship between one another.

A simple and entertaining book for the young teens and adults.

The One Year Mother Daughter Devo

The book I requested from Tyndale has finally arrived!! I was so happy when I received this beautiful book "The One Year Mother Daughter Devo." This book is the best I have read so far, a daily affair bringing a Mother and a Daughter together, a beautiful family bonding.

My girl is a very quiet girl and it was just me and her in the house day in and out. When I received this book, it has helps us to have a stronger bond between my girl and I. Each night we read a page together, the story line is simple but very effective and applicable to our daily lives. This devotion book sort of connects all mother and daughters, to have a stronger bonding with one another. As we continue on our daily ritual with God, we can feel a sense of closeness that He is here by our side.

I highly recommend this book for all to see, especially for Mothers and Daughters!

Storm Warning

Storm Warning is written by Billy Graham, originally written in 1992 and now reprinted again to emphasize on the current "storms" our world is facing. Since the tragedies that happened n 9/11, it is to bring up to date the recent developments of today.

Billy Graham talks about the revelations of today, he senses the uneasiness around the world, he feels the foundation of America crumbling and he hears the sound of hoofbeats. For the same reason God created the storms, either to quench our thirst with His spiritual water or to drench our wayward eyes with tears because of our disobedience.

An excerpt from Billy Graham's introduction of this book "Storm Warning".. it says "Now, at ninety one years old, I believe the storm clouds are darker than they have ever been. The world has dramatically changed.
