Honesty In Her
This afternoon my colleagues and I went to Secret Recipe for lunch. We ordered our individual meals and then I ordered a piece of cake to share among the three of us. After we finished our meal, my colleague went to the counter to pay. From the bill, we began to pay our individual share and then we realized that the cake was not printed in the bill. My colleague looked at me and asked me to go and enquire... but I told her that since she was the one who paid, she should go and asked from the same cashier. Reluctantly she went and asked the cashier why the cake was not charged... the cashier looked at her in amazement or should I say amusement? She must be very surprised that there is such an honest customer! :) Well, this shows that my colleague is indeed very honest and reliable when it comes to money.... kudos to her!

A Miracle To Me
You are so real that I fear from now on....
Never have I ask for a miracle to happen....
I thought there is no more chance... but You make it come true....
It was written that she was not qualified to go for the Educamp.... my heart sank... I was so sad... I didn't show it out for I didn't want her to be upset too...
But I seek You in my prayers that night... I remember what I said, something like this..... "Father, I am asking for a favour from You, I want to believe that You are real... can You show me that You listen to my prayers? Can you answer my prayers asking You for a miracle? You know that her application has been rejected and our hearts were saddened... Can you reverse that rejection to acceptance? It is my heart's desire as well as her desire to enroll into this Uni... all I want is a chance for her to attend this Educamp.... it would be a miracle if You allow this to happen... I will glorify Your name..... "
After my petition, I nearly forgot about it until .... one day my girl told me, "Hey Mi, my friend told me that my application for Educamp has been approved!!" "What??? I thought it was rejected??" No... that rejection was for another issue... but what is real is that my girl has been approved to attend the Educamp.... what I ASKED from My Father, He answered!!
Oh..oh... so He is making it happen....When I thought there was no more hope, He shows me that He is the Hope.... When I thought I was asking for the Impossible, He made it Possible... that is scary, right!
My Father God answers.... He knows Best... He not only allows my girl to go for the Educamp interview, He even allows my girl to get Accepted in the university and I pray that He will continue to guide and protect her all the way.....
Thank You Father God.... You are really Awesome!

IN All Things, Give Thanks!
God is indeed good all the time...
This afternoon my colleague and I were talking about how good God is in our lives... she was so happy for all and whatever God has given to her... she praises Him all the time...
Sensing that, I told her about what my pastor mentioned in his sermon some time ago...
He reminded us that life on earth for Christians is not always smooth... but because we have God by our side, we trust that He will lead us through the stormy paths...
He continued to share with us that we must thank God IN all things... not FOR all things.. they carry a different meaning....
In all circumstances, give thanks.... if something bad happens, do not be forlorn.. give thanks In all things..trust in Him and He will make something good out of the "bad."
Halleluyah...

I Know It Is You All The Time...
I believe in God protecting us... I believe in Him talking to us in small voices... prompting.. in a way...
The other night as I was upstairs blogging away, totally engrossed, I heard a sound of an insect somewhere above my head. I brushed it aside... few seconds later, another noise... like it fell on the floor or fell on something that made a sound... and that got me very startled! I got up straightaway and expected to find a cockroach or what on the floor... but Nothing!
Before I could sat down again, I heard some sssss sound... OOPPSSS!!! I quickly ran downstairs....
I suddenly remember that I didn't turn off the gas stove.. the kettle of water had been boiling for more than half hour! The water remaining was only half....
Thank you, God! I know You have sent something to scare me out of my wits.. hahahaa... something that made me get up from my chair instead of engrossing myself in my blogging...
I know it was You... and all the time, it is You.... Thank you!!

Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart
I went to this cat blog a few minutes ago and from there, I came to know this quaylo blog ... In the midst of reading half way, it touched my heart to know that this particular lady celebrated her birthday in an old folks home in Kajang. It dawned upon me that each day is not just a blessed day for all of us, it also makes me realize that I should be thankful of what I am today....
While many times I have wallowed in self pitiness and sorrow, I realize that I did not focus on God... He was far from me... but I am wrong, He is not "distancing" Himself... the person who keeps away from Him is ME... I was the one who keeps a distance... and now I do not want to anymore..
Coming back to this post I read.... these poor elderly people are lonely.. all they want is companionship... I remember going to a Caring Home here in IPOH... while I was there, I notice a scene that nearly made me broke down in tears... The JOY and the Smile on this auntie's face was so obvious when her teenaged girl went in with her father to visit her. The radiant look on her face showed how much she missed them. That made me wonder why.... why did she has to stay in the caring home instead of being at home with her son and granddaughter??
I put myself in her shoes... and I had to swallow back the lump in my throat..... will I end up like her one day, looking forward to seeing my kids to visit me once awhile? It is a sad thought... but I remember telling my kids...
If they really want to put me in a home, make sure it is a very nice comfortable one and most important, equip me with a LAPTOP!

Taming The Tiger
Yesterday we had a special guest speaker, his name is Tony Anthony, mother chinese, father Italian... from the moment he stepped up into the stage, most of the congregation were fixed on him. The hall was full to the brim and I am sure all of us were touched by his testimony....
He called himself a tiger because he was "ferocious" from a very young age. He was born in London and was sent back to China when he was four years old. His grandparents brought him up till he was twelve, during the time he was there, his grandfather taught him "kungfu." From that young age, he was physically abused... perhaps due to the strict discipline of kungfu....
During his years of kungfu training, he grew up as a trainer and a bodyguard. During the 1980s, he committed some crimes and was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. During that three years, he was paid weekly visits by a christian from Crypus..... and to cut my post short, he received Christ when he was at his "downest" period of time......
Earthly statement... seeing is believing....we see then only we believe, right... BUT as Christians, Believing is Seeing... when we believe in God, we will see Him.... truly we will see His goodness...
At the end of the service, there was an altar call, many of us came up to him and received a prayer... that includes me as well... it is indeed a touching testimony...
