Obesity In Malaysia

Today I read the Star news in amusement... it is written that Malaysia is now rated as the fattest country in South-East Asia!  According to our Health Minister, this title is not glorious.  I nearly laughed out loud when I read that. 

Well, I really do not have any doubt about that.  Who are we to blame for our obesity?  No one but us... we are of mixed culture and having mixed culture, food is surely different as well.  And I, for one, love food so much that I travel just to taste the good food... LOL...

One thing I know for sure... we Malaysians have too much varieties of food.. most of them are so tasty that one cannot resist having more than three meals per day....

So...what shall we do, Malaysians?  How do we keep fit and healthy  with all the food temptations around us each day?  Tell me...

Methodist Senior Fellowship Night

My sister made a request to help her play the guitar during the Methodist Senior Fellowship night last Monday. I really would love to... for one thing, I love to sing... secondly, I love to eat! LOL..

I hope no one in MSF reads this... they might think I come for the "Food" only... seriously... those food are really something... they are mostly home-cooked food where you cannot get them even if you pay... lol...

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe In Orchard Road, Singapore

For dinner during the first night in Orchard Road, my son took us to Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe in ION Mall. This cafe reminds me of Kim Gary in Kuala Lumpur, the style and the food are almost similiar...

But the food is definitely better, I can say... here are some of the dishes we took...

New Niche - Food And My Embarrassing Thoughts

From today onwards, I will be adding a new theme to this blog... besides giving glory and praises to my Lord God, I will post up the food abundance He has given to me... to us..  Without His provisions, there will not be so much enjoyment in savouring all that is laid on our tables...

As you all know, I love to eat... healthy, unhealthy, I eat but I do not eat in big quantities.... I like to try varieties and love traveling to try out new food that I have not tasted before..

Let me tell you one of my "weaknesses" and this might be very embarrassing to reveal too.. hahaha...

At times when I go to sleep, I think of food.. and my mouth sort of "twitches" and "yum-ming" like I am really tasting the desired food!!  Gosh.. have you all experienced that before???
