An Annual Affair

My kids and I attended a church function in Johor a couple of years ago. It was a grand affair, the whole hall was packed and abundant food were served.  The invitation was extended by the Church Of Praise and my BIL booked the whole table for us...
Church of Praise... Love, Grow, Serve, Share...
Adding glamour to the dinner function, a well known singer Juwita Suwito entertained the thousand of people with songs of praise that includes Christmas songs as well.  Everyone had a good time being entertained... her voice was really great!  This is one function I will not forget and hope that we will be able to attend this year end.

Luxury Paris

My next dream trip will be in Europe and I hope that I can visit Paris, the romantic city... I would love to go for a free and easy trip with my family.  No rushing here and there, no early wake up calls and feeling exhausted during the night, we rather have our own itinerary than to follow a guided tour.  In order to plan our own tour, we must really surf for the right website and information and the most important thing to do is the lodging and accommodation.  Once this is settled, we can set forth to planning the daily tours.  There is a website whereby we can check out for luxury Paris rentals, I am sure they will be able to cater our family of four.  We need to do a lot of homework, comparing the rates and locality and I hope we can be able to find one that will accommodate our budget.  :)

Festive Happenings In London

Planning to go to London for Christmas and not knowing where to chill out?  Let me give you some suggestions … ahem….  Here are some interesting programs and do not fret about where to go or things to do in London.  There are so much “Going-Ons” especially when everyone is on Christmas mood now.  Celebrating this festive season is one of the most important events of the year.
Firstly, let us give Thanks to our God for this one year’s of blessing upon us and we pray that He will continue to guide and give directions in our lives.  Secondly, to commemorate this season, we go to church to worship and give Him praise! Yes!
And for those of us who loves parties, we can get to celebrate in Christmas eve in Winter Wonderland that starts at 10pm to 3am in the morning!  Not only that, there are so many more places to usher in the New Year 2013!  Make a date with Radio1 DJ Scott Mills or join in the Carnival at Balls Brothers Victoria!  All these are rather new to me but I do get the updates every now and then from these Happening websites.  Oh, how I wish I could make a trip to London for this festive season, it will be a memorable time for me, I am sure!

Property Sales In Turkey

Many of my friends have visited Turkey and came back telling that it is one of their memorable trips they have ever visited.  I believe that it is true, none have come back giving negative comments and the way they described Turkey’s main attraction, I got more and more excited!

Traveling to new places is one of my passion, I am not young anymore nor feeling too old to travel, I feel that this is the best time for me to do some traveling before I really retire for good.  I have bookmarked Turkey as one of my dream trips which I hope I will visit one day.  Lately I read in some articles that there are many foreign investors interested in the property for sale in Instanbul.  Feeling curious about their market value on the property, I clicked onto their website and to my amazement, their property is really not that expensive at all.

There is a wide range of apartments, villas and condominiums for sale and one of the most popular ones is found from Spot Blue.  Their prices, as I have mentioned, are not way too high and according to some investors, buying property in Turkey for investment is something you will never regret.  Well, I am no expertise in property investment but one thing I know for sure is that I would love to visit this country one day!

My Travel Mood Is On Again!

If all goes well according to plans, I would be taking a two weeks vacation to London early next year.  Meanwhile my son and I are making plans right now, there are so much to look into.  But with the easy access to the Internet nowadays, planning for a holiday is really easy.   There are so many websites to look into, firstly, to check out the flight tickets, comparing their rates and the time of the flights.  Secondly, when it comes to looking for accommodation with affordable rates, all we need is to come by here in this website.  Just log in to the TravelStay link and we can check out their hundreds of London bed and breakfast hotels  within the London itself, such as Notting Hill, Kensington district, Paddington, Kings Cross to name a few.  They come with cheap accommodation that values for money and most important, they are  close to London Gatwick and Heathrow airport.  Besides that, we can tour around the city attraction such as the Big Ben and the London Eye.
Well, it has been more than 20 years since I last visited London and I am looking forward to my second visit next year.  Just thinking of this trip makes me excited!

Thailand Floods

Pray our neighbouring country, Thailand...

I didn t know it was so serious till I read and saw these pictures online...

Their Prime Minister has announced a five day holiday for evacuation... She mentioned that the dikes might not hold out for long.. "dikes" means an embankment for controlling or holding back the waters of the sea or a river.... hearing this, it is sad.......

As if this is not dangerous enough, there is another problem lurking.... Crocodiles are rampant in Thailand and it is reported that scores of them have escaped from the farms during the floods....

Let's pray for the floods to subside in no time... and all will be well....

It is so near... to us....

Count our blessings...

Port St Lucie For Us

This morning while I was having breakfast with my friend, one of the topics we talked about was retirement, in fact, we were discussing about our retirement. Both of us are in our early fifties now, in a matter of two or three years, we are officially retired. In the midst of our conversation, I could sense that she was quite worried about her financial situation in another three years time. None of us would like to retire if we do not have enough money to spend, right? It is quite worrying especially now as we see that inflation is sort of "hitting" us in our everyday's life.

But it is a different story if our savings are enough when we retire. From what I read in this website, Americans are very well taken care of when they retire at the age of 55 to 70. They are wise in spending and thus when they retire, the funds for old age is already taken care of. That is when they start to enjoy life to the fullest and one of them that provides great easy living is Port Saint Lucie real estate. This beautiful resort-style community offers great facilities and amenities that you can ever dream of. They include a wide selection of lifestyle programs to suit your interest and they are specifically developed for active adults to pass their time with joy and pleasure. From what I read in this Port St Lucie information website, you can even access to their stunning championship golf and learning facilities in their PGA Golf Club, you can start by becoming a resident club member. Not only that, they include a fully equipped Talavera wellness center as well with a range of athletic classes and lifelong learning programs to occupy our minds. I guess this is a good place to enjoy our retirement age if we do not have other interests in mind, somewhere we can relax after years of working pressure. It is indeed a time to look for pleasure for the remaining years of our lives.
