God Is The Greatest

From my journal on the 3/1/2006...says
Our sins are cleansed by His blood. What we would be suffering, Jesus has taken them away. Pain, hurts, betrayals, difficulties, tears, diseases and eventually death... all these through the blood of Jesus, are washed away... instead, we have lots to gain, all we need to do is to ask and we shall receive.

Our bitter situations are made sweet... Once we lay our lives and our faith in Jesus, He will make a way fo rus to overcome all difficulties. If only we.. We humans just obey and abide, rough waves will become still waters...

God Is Great... Amen..

Cross Conscious

Cross Conscious? What can I understand about being cross conscious? At first I was blank when I read the first sentence in my devotion booklet. But when I continue reading, the meaning of cross conscious lies on a few definations..

Cross conscious : Imagine Jesus dying on the cross, nailed mercilessly and painfully endured, He is without sin and yet He sacrificed Himself for us all...

Just think about Jesus for a minute...

How much He has to endure....

And... finally, with His blood, we are saved... by His grace....

Bless My Country...

Deuteronomy 28:3 says..Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country..

Yes, Lord, I humbly pray that You will be in control in my state and my country..
I lift up my state's and country's leaders unto You..
that Father, You will allow the fair leaders to reign over the people
Father, You will grant them wisdom ...
To lead the country with justice and integrity...

Thank you, Lord...Praise Ye In Jesus Name,

SMS God's Words...

Talking about verses in the Bible, I am going to start something new. Why not sms our love ones with a new verse each morning to start off the day? You will never know the wonder what the verse can do... it can be a simple verse to encourage one another, whether we are working, or perhaps some are in college, schooling or even for outstation friends whom we do not meet up often and yet we want them to know we are there for them....

Well, anyone, any verse that comes to you, perhaps it is a good gesture to spread our Lord's words to brighten up our days ahead...

(I better have a bible along with me... each morning :)

A Simple Verse

Yesterday I was really touched when my son sms-ed me a Bible Verse... He knew I was feeling depressed a few days back... and I am indeed overwhelmed by his concern for me.

It is a very simple verse and yet, I tend to forget when there is someone whom I can trust, in times of depression, down hearted or sad...

Psalms 46:10 says, Be Still and know that I am God...

Yes, I know I ought to be quiet in my thoughts for God and not always trying to solve problems by myself... With this verse, it will remind me that I am not alone..there is always Him who can lighten our problems and emotional feelings...
