Worship Workshop

When I attended the Worship Workshop recently, I was given some notes on what is worship and how to worship to our Lord, in front of the church congregation. We were given training on our voices, how to blend in as a group and how to interact with the people who come to worship. It was a very enlightening course and the only regret was I didn't attend the last section of the worship training. It was supposed to be the best time where each group were given an opportunity to "spa" against each other on how to lead a worship. I felt very remorseful that I couldn't attend...

I Am Not Sick

Pray for a year of healing... my family members, 3 of them are sick... two members with eyes problem and one undergoing chemo. This is a tough year, for them, for us. We must continue to be strong in our faith, persevere, pray and let God do according to His will. We must claim to be strong, don't say "i m sick, i m sick..." dont curse ownself, instead fight against all odds..
I am not sick, I am not!!! Let God be the healer of whatever impurities we have inside..
Thank You, Lord Jesus...

Simple Worship Greeting!

My girl asked me just now.. How to say an opening prayer before leading worship? She is leading her schoolmates tomorrow morning in school, leading in worship so before she starts, she is not sure what she wants to say...
Well, I just told her.. say what is in her heart.. to our Father... early morning.. just Thank Him for another beautiful blessed day He has given to us.... simple words will be wonderful and worship in songs and praise will be pleasing unto Him as well!

Be Patient

Today the sermon made a great impact on me.. God is speaking to me tonight.. during the sermon and it made me realize I was like this....

Patience..
When we are patient, we bring the best out of us...
When we are impatient, we bring the beast out of us...

Patience with others, it brings love...
Patience with ourselves, it brings hope...
Patience with God, it brings faith... In US....

It is very true.. I have been very impatient lately... I wanted things my way and get it done fast.. and it wore me down, tremendously... God says Wait... but I couldnt wait.... Now I know what He wants me to do... Be Patient...

Family Time

I read in this Lent book.. a family time question ...
It says...."Ask the children to draw an "authority" figure at home, in school, in society, and invite an explanation. Compare that person's authority to Jesus's authority. "Dear Lord, we thank you for sending Jesus, Your only Son. And we thank you that your gave Him the power and authority to do all things. Amen."
