The Perfect Substitute

An excerpt from Daily Bread, The Final Goal...
Romans %:8 God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners...

Jesus Christ took our place to do somethjng we could never do - save ourselves. when He was nailed to the cross, Jesus was put where we should have been.
At some point, all of us by our words or actions have told God we don't want Him to be in charge of our lives. That is why the Bible calls us "ungodly." Jesus didn't deserve to die because he never sinned. And yet, "God showed His great Love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."

Jesus is the perfect Substitute. All we need to do is to accept Him as our Savior. When we do, "we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us."

Korean Singers In Church..

Last night Fernie reminded me to wake up early to go Sunday church service with her. Wow, that was a great transformation! All along she doesn't go on Sundays cos services starts at 8am. But today she woke up when I just called out her name... why? Because a group of Korean singers were here in our church! She wanted to go and see Koreans for the first time.. lol... all along she only watched their movies... good gracious..
God forgive her.. but then they were great, yes... put some tears in my eyes when they sang praises unto God... Amen..

Healing Praise

Praise the Lord.. today we arrived safely in Sg Buluh and had a wonderful fellowship with my brother and family. It is another bonding time with them and praise the Lord for His wonderful blessings upon us all.

Hope we will continue to have a great time of bonding with one another during these few days. Pray that my mother will have full recovery on her eyes when she meets up with the doctor this Friday. As in Romans 8:28, In all things, God works for those who loves Him, and whom He has called, according to His Purpose...

Koreans Are Coming

We were supposed to worship on the 27th June.. then this morning I received a sms saying that a Korean group is coming to my church and they will be leading the worship.. Great!! Last time I missed listening to them.. now they are going to come again.. Praise The Lord!

Koreans, as far as I heard, they are on fire with the Lord... their service in Korea comes to thousands... Must be a great awakening over there.. Yes, I am looking forward to hearing them sing next Saturday!

Plan Ahead

Tomorrow my program for my family has been laid out... hope it will go according to as planned. Let God decides anyway... haahaha... we can always plan but He decides and may His will be done. Firstly, we got to send Labbie to the vet for observation of her skin and to groom her nails.. they are getting too long already.
Secondly, I got to take my sis for her appointments...
Thirdly, evening we are going for a dinner at San Franscisco Steak House.... yummy!
Fourthly, we go church after that....

Well, this is our plans tomorrow... :)

Smooth Journey

Thank God for granting smooth journey for my sister who flew back from US today. Everything was smooth except for the overweight luggage.. lol.. She brought home so many foodstuff and souvenirs. These two days we will be very busy taking her out for food, food and glorious food.
Besides my sister, my two sons are home again today... It is wonderful to have them back again in the house... yes!
Praise The Lord for His provisions. His everlasting mercy is always upon us all...
