Jingle Bell

Today is New Year Eve and I am on medical leave. There are a lot of chores to do actually..but firstly, will take Jingle Bell for a jab in the veterinary department later on. He is getting pampered nowadays... when he sees us, he expects us to play with him and if we don't he will howl.. wow.. my goodness, just like a baby...
Well, I guess he will howl again when the doc put a jab on his backside later on.....ooooooohhhh...

Christmas Gathering

Christmas this year was celebrated with a festive note of love and sharing in my mother's house. We invited some of our close friends and relatives to our party, started off with makan firrst and then worshipping of songs and praise to our Lord. After that, my brother gave his testimony, followed by mum, brother in law and some cousins. It was a night of touching moments when my auntie and her daughter accepted Lord Jesus into their lives. May God continue to grant them grace to walk along the journey of life. Praise the Lord.

Got A Wish Come True

Christmas is around the corner and we are going to have a party on the 25th in my mother's house. We invited our close friends and relatives to this special occasion and we have special line-up programs for the night. My sister who is residing in Sacramento, does not want to be left out, she is missing home because she is thousands of miles away from us. But thanks to CEIVA Digital Frame, she will be able to see us in a matter of seconds. How?

Well, with CEIVA, we are able to send our photos immediately via computer to the recipient's CEIVA even though they are thousands of miles away from us. The photos can be updated instantly from anywhere around the globe so that those with CEIVA can get the latest photos or videos of their friends or love ones just by a click. No software nor technical expert is needed to set it up. Just follow the easy instructions and you will get to see your love ones as soon as you want to be. All we have to do is just to send a photo via the Internet or cellphone and the recipient could receive it on his CEIVA digital photo frame in a matter of seconds. Isn't that amazing?

Hey, that is not all. There is something cool about this link I am going to tell you about. I uploaded my photo recently and it is so funny to see Santa holding my picture in his hand. Not only that, my wish is in his record book too! Unbelievable? Well, seeing is believing, just go to the link and see for yourself. It will surely amaze you. Oh, before I forget, there is a contest going on in CEIVA. For each day of the contest, one random entry will be selected to win an attractive prize of $500. No purchases are needed, as long as you are a US resident and above 18 years of age, you are eligible to to take part.

As for my sister, she has got a wish for this coming Christmas. Though she is not here with us, she can still feel this festive season at the same time with us. All this is made possible through CEIVA.

Hectic Day

From morning till now, it was a hectic time for me... Woke up late this morning, rushed to work around 10am, it was a Saturday actually so it was overtime rate for me....
Then around 1pm, I felt very tired mentally, on the way home, stopped to buy some snack, only to realise my wallet was left in my office drawer.... rushed to office again to retrieve back my wallet.. Thank God it was still there...
Then drove home again, only to realise that there was no current in house... sigh...
wanted to watch my badminton...
I guess have to bask in the warmness of the house...

Refreshing Time

These few days I am spiritually dry and tired... for 2 weeks I did not go to church. My focus is somewhere else, perhaps too much of travelling during this December. Hope everything will be back to normal this week, will need to replenish my spiritual growth.. Christmas is around the corner, my family is planning to have a party for our close relatives... most of them are Buddhists so we hope to spread the love of Christ around them. Before I do so, I need to refresh myself first... and bask in the spirit of God..

Painless Torture

MY MOST FEARED PLACE is none other than the Dentist Clinic. This afternoon I took my girl for the braces appointment and since my one of my tooth needed to be refilled, I had to go and get it done too.... Have been postponing the refill for many months now...sooner or later, it might crack and then it would be too late to "save" the tooth.

When I was sitting on the dentist's chair, I prayed.. I really prayed to Lord Jesus.. I said, Lord, please let me have a painless refill.. please, please..no pain please.. kept on pleading... Dentist was not ready yet at that moment. Then something reflected in my mind...imagine... mine is just a refill of the tooth, how about Our Jesus as He waited on his last day on earth, to be beaten so severely and eventually nailed... yes, NAILED ON THE CROSS....HOW PAINFUL THAT COULD BE!!

What is my little tooth to a big nail on the cross?? How little is mine and great is He!
Thinking of that gave me strength... what am I to HIM that He endureth such pain....

God is Great, Jesus is Great..... few moments later, as the dentist was doing his task, I didn't feel anything pain at all.... REALLY... BELIEVE ME....IT WAS PAINLESS!!

IT WAS JUST AMAZING!!

Saturday Morning

Thank God for another beautiful morning.... it is indeed a wonderful day in Singapore. My kids are still sleeping but I m fully awake ... Perhaps as I age, I cannot seem to sleep longer than those days. Or is it that I don't want to waste my time sleeping, instead I get up to see what's new in my blog. I think it is more on the latter. I had a strange dream last night.... well, it was strange but nice... Anyway, hope today we will have more time to go shopping, we havent bought anything yet, mostly eating and eating in Singapore.... haha...

We plan, God decides...

Tomorrow I am going for a breakaway to Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Johor and finally to Singapore to attend Larry's son wedding dinner. Kids and I are looking forward to the trip, may God bless us with smooth journeys, fine weather and wonderful fellowship with one another. Will stop over at Kong's place for a night before adjourning to Singapore the next day. It has been 2 years over since we last stepped into Singapore. Hope the Christmas lights will be in full blast at Orchard Road but this time, we must visit Bugis Street and Vivo City...

That is my plan....when we plan, God will decide...
