Thanks and praise unto God for His journey mercies...
Lord, I need your healing touch again..
Only You know what I am having...
I pray that Your Healing Touch will be upon me...

God's Greatest Love

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Everlasting love from God is shown by Him by sacrficing His own Son, Jesus Christ to die for us. He has been crucified on the cross while we were yet sinners.

Crown of thorns - free our mind from fears, guilt, stress, depression and anxieties.

Nailed pierced hands - Peace Be With us

Nail On Feet - free us from diseases, rejection, condemnation, death...

Blood and water - represents our hearts be filled with joy when His heart is pierced on our behalf.

The church is the bride, spotless, clean and pure. We have to live up to Christ, He has given us His everlasting love and passion for all mankind.

Believing is Seeing

Matthew 2:13 says As you have believed, so let it be done for you....

For Christians, believing is seeing God, to feel Him, to know that He is alwasy near us. When we believe, we know for sure God is for us, in us and with us all the time. We must have faith in Him, trust and belonging becomes more intensified. He is alive in us, in ou rthoughts, in our minds, in our daily walks.....

He takes care of us whatever happens, He will never leave nor forsake us....
God is magnificent, always and ever glorious in our lives...

Church MSF

Another MSF night in church last Monday... it was indeed a happy affair for all of us who attended, starting with praising God with worship, singing birthday song to those who are born in August and then followed by a medical talk on H1N1. A time to sing praises, to eat and to be filled with important information on health care. Isn't that a blessing...

Key To Connection

Last night sermon was by Canon Rev. Fred Davis... he is 63 years old, he looks like 54 and talks like 24.... he introduced himself and everyone had a good laugh. He was so energetic, in fact, he was dancing to the worship songs and u will never guess he is of that age. His sermon was as dynamic as his actions and voice and we were put to stitches on and off.

Though his sermon was a bit longer than usual, we had a good time listening to God's words in the book of Revelations. He said we are the key...the key to salvation, we hold the key for others who have yet to know Christ... so why don't we use the key to open doors to people?
Somewhere in between, he said he likes Nokia... told us to buy nokia phones, dont use other brands...hahhaa.... we were wondering why...then he said the theme for Nokia is......
CONNECTING PEOPLE!!

So we people of God, we should start with connecting people, using our Key to Salvation!

Da Vinci Code

Did anyone of you here watch the movie DaVinci Code? I didn't... but I just borrowed a book called "A Quest For Answers" on this movie. I am still reading and most of the subjects they touched on, I am still blurry about it. Perhaps if I have watched the movie, I would have understand better. But for all I know, DaVinci Code is just a fiction, even the writer had said so himself. But when the movie got popular, he changed his version.... and thus the controversies after that. After knowing that, it made me think... greed is in our hearts.... when we achieve more than we expect, our temptations begin to flow into our lives...it needs a strong heart with integrity to overcome the sinful desire in us....

Our Stronghold & Comforter...

Praise The Lord for my friend... who in time of distress has turn to our Lord Jesus for comfort and peace upon her heart.

This morning she gave a good testimony of our Lord, she has been in distress lately over her family problems. Her tears and anguish continued for many months until lately, she turned her life to our Lord Jesus for His comfort. Now whenever she feels sad or deeply troubled, she quickly called upon our Lord for His strength, she talks to Him, how He must have felt when He was betrayed and she humbly asked before Him for His annointing of perseverance upon her as well. Then she added that, immediately after her prayer, she felt very much at peace again....

Jesus will continue to be in her life... she needs Him so much... that sets me thinking... yes, I do need Him as well.. Jesus is our stronghold and our comforter..

Why Go To Church?

One interesting email I read today and would like to share with all of you... after reading this, it makes me realise that many times I do take things for granted and never think of what I have now, complaints are always plenty, goodness I have neglected giving thanks for.... read on....

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday.. "I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."

This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor. It went
on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:

"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals.. But I do know this ... They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!" When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something!

Lets Not Worry, Just Trust And Obey

So much happenings in the family in just a matter of weeks... it is a very trying week for me and my siblings this few months and the latest bad news that happened to my brother. A very stressful time for all of us, worrying for our brother who has just been diagnosed of having the most feared disease. All of us in the family were shaken by this news, never expected such to happen to our love ones and we are still traumatised with the news.

Thank God for my eldest brother who told us that we must not think negatively of what had happened. He reminded us to continue entrusting ourselves to our Lord Jesus. In this time of sadness, we must trust in Him, let not the news affect us in any way, didn't we always sing, Trust and Obey? We got to think positively as not to allow any leeway for the devil to seep into our minds and distracting us from our Lord... All we need to do is to pray and allow our Lord to intervene and have His way. Our lives on earth are just temporary... lets build our treasures in heaven!

Think About His Goodness

Last night I was chatting with my brother and he told me something important I should know and practise. I would like to share with all of you here too, especially Christians who is spiritually low at times, this is what we should know.

When we are befallen, when we are "attacked" spiritually, with sickness or with sad news, we should not give up hope. For example, if we are stricken with a deadly virus, we should not worry ourselves to to near disaster. Don't leave any leeway for the devil aka satan to come into our minds, sometimes we are not aware that we do that. We might tend to worry ourselves, thinking how long we have to live, medicine that might not work, no one to talk to, feeling lonely and alone, all the negative thoughts will come into our mind and make us give up very fast.

Do not feel that way... we must take trials as a testing of our faith to develop perseverance. When we are attacked, think of Lord Jesus, how He suffered on the cross and how He has sacrificed His life for us. We are in the fallen world but do remember we have our Lord with us.. so whatever happens, let us not think negative... THINK OF HIS GOODNESS!

My Childhood Memories

I got this from Cindy, Ipohian, same like me....Thanks Cindy... now I will start cracking my head to the questions below.

This I believe is the best time in our lives, childhood. Our deepest concern only is how we’re going to finish our meal or what we’re going to play today. The simplest of things makes us laugh, and everybody wants to kiss or cuddle us. And so let’s try to be the kid that we were even just for a few minutes:

1. Ever favorite nursery rhyme: Oh My Darling, Oh My Darling, Oh My Darling, Clementine..
2. Pet name: Labby & Jingle Bell
3. Favorite treat: Pringles
4. Milk in your bottle/Sippy cup you miss most: None that I can think of
5. Favorite TV show: Chinese series
6. Place you love your parents take you the most: Cinemas (long long time ago)
7. Adult thing you used to mimick: @#$%^&!!% (just joking)
8. Most embarrassing to recall: Forgot to zip up skirt
9. Game with a sib you reminisce most: One Legged (tan kwok)
10. Most unforgettable candy you used to take: coconut candy (I love them till now!)

We can call this “chain blog” and I am here tagging few friends who might enjoy passing this along. Just copy and edit in accordance to your corresponding personal experience and preference. Hope you tag me along in your post. Have fun remembering your not so distant past.

Great Assurance

Psalms 91:14-16
Because he loves me, I will rescue him
I will protect him for he acknowledges my name
He will call upon Me and I will answer him
I will be with him in trouble
I will deliver him and honor him
With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation...

These wonderful verses are a consolation to us, a great reassurance that God has given us. He will rescue, takes care of us in times of trouble. He is always there for us for we acknowledges that He is our Father, our Lord in our lives. He wil lansser our prayers whether it be good or bad. He is always there for us. His deliverance and honor is truly gracious. Above all these, we are blessed with long life, eternity, everlasting life.

What a Great God We Have!
