LOVE FOR OUR CHILDREN

Psalms 128 : Family Love...

This passage caught my attention cos I have 3 children still around their teens... As a single parent, at times, I really feel I dont know how to face a situation with my teenage kids, what should I do, how do I react to such problems, what is my advice for them or how should I relate to them...is my way correct....have i taught them the right thing.... all these will arise when I am faced with a dilimma and sometimes I blew my top trying to get it right but ended up worsening a situation....

Now when I read this passage, it says, love them unconditionally because they live in a conditional world whereby whatever they face each day now, in my time, we dont have that kind of enviroment or situation...

And I, as a mother needs to lead them to Christ not through by rule but their own heart's desire and love for Christ ...

Parents, give your children guidance
And instruction from God’s Word;
Then with wisdom and compassion
Teach them how to love the Lord.

Don’t merely spend time with your children—invest it.

No Complaints, No Grumbles..

Phillippians 2:12-18...

Living each day, doing our daily work, no doubt there are hassles and bustles, many times I tend to complain...not really complain and grumble in that sort, but mostly on our daily topics, and the most common topic is about the politics, politics and more politics....

Not so much on my own personal life, God is providing us necessities each day, really I m very thankful to Him...its really impossible to do it on my own... for it says, it is God who works in us to will and to act according to His good purpose, He provides, we act accordingly...

Without God, there would be no me...me who is living a blessed life with my kids...us who are really loved by God no matter how rough our paths may be, let us not grumble and complain for He is really IN us and FOR us....

When things go wrong, I would not be a grumbler,
Complaining, seeing everything as grim;
For when I think of how the Lord has blessed me,
I cannot help but give my praise to Him.

When you feel like griping, start counting your blessings.

What A Friend We Have In Jesus...

TODAY our daily bread is on Friendship...and I say... living a life without friends is not LIFE...

As Jesus had said in John 15:9...He imphasized on loving our friends just as He has love us... He obeys God's commands and thus God loves Him....

In this world, we have friends around us...but how much are we doing for our friends? Ok, lets talk about me, how much am I sacrificing my time for my friends or family?? Sometimes I wonder I am doing enough or just not enough for them... sometimes I feel I have failed to give them my best.

When one incident occured, when my best friend stopped talking to me for quite awhile, I began to ponder... what had I done wrong..was it my fault? What should I have done? What actually did I do?? Sometimes I dont know which area that I have offended my friend, that is the problem....

But nevertheless, I humbled myself to apologise to her... I dont really know what had gone wrong...As I prayed over it, something came to my mind... that it never hurts to be humble... just sending a note or a sms that is so convenient nowadays, it can heal up a 'small fracture' in a relationship...

Dont wait too long... if one really treasures the other....

Whatever happens, we can always pray and He is always there....... WE ALWAYS HAVE A FRIEND IN JESUS....

BEADED TREE

HANDICRAFT is not my cup of tea so I really envy my colleagues who are so creative.... these ornaments are made from beads and crystals, it is not costly... for this look-alike tree here, it is only around RM15 or less... but could be sold in shops for RM30....

So for those who are are creative with their hands, this is a good hobby to make some extra allowances..haha...
