You Alone I Praise Lyrics & Chords

You Alone I Praise is sung orginally by New Creation Church in Singapore in 2008 but I only got to know this song just a few days ago when I played the CD in my car. Since then, it was played repeatedly non stop. I searched for the lyrics in Google.... couldn't find any websites linking to this song.

Didn't want to give up, I listened to the song again and I memorized them... so easy and yet so tough when it comes to school books! After the lyrics, the next step is the guitar chords. With God's blessing, I got the guitar chords in the lyrics as well...

Praise the Lord... we want to proclaim this song to our Heavenly Father...

Our first recording together ... not perfect at all... please bear with us...

Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart

I went to this cat blog a few minutes ago and from there, I came to know this quaylo blog ... In the midst of reading half way, it touched my heart to know that this particular lady celebrated her birthday in an old folks home in Kajang. It dawned upon me that each day is not just a blessed day for all of us, it also makes me realize that I should be thankful of what I am today....

While many times I have wallowed in self pitiness and sorrow, I realize that I did not focus on God... He was far from me... but I am wrong, He is not "distancing" Himself... the person who keeps away from Him is ME... I was the one who keeps a distance... and now I do not want to anymore..

Coming back to this post I read.... these poor elderly people are lonely.. all they want is companionship... I remember going to a Caring Home here in IPOH... while I was there, I notice a scene that nearly made me broke down in tears... The JOY and the Smile on this auntie's face was so obvious when her teenaged girl went in with her father to visit her. The radiant look on her face showed how much she missed them. That made me wonder why.... why did she has to stay in the caring home instead of being at home with her son and granddaughter??

I put myself in her shoes... and I had to swallow back the lump in my throat..... will I end up like her one day, looking forward to seeing my kids to visit me once awhile? It is a sad thought... but I remember telling my kids...

If they really want to put me in a home, make sure it is a very nice comfortable one and most important, equip me with a LAPTOP!

All You Need Plan

This post brought to you by Straight Talk. All opinions are 100% mine.

My two sons are staying away from home, one is working and the other one is still in college.  I call them almost every day so can you imagine my phone bills monthly?  Yes, the bills are quite costly and I just could not cut down my calls because I miss them so.  Lately when I heard about Straight Talk and their benefits, I am so glad that I finally found a way to cut down my phone bills.  everything you need seems to be here in this plan.

Firstly, you do not have to sign a contract using Straight Talk plan, they only uses trusted phone manufacturers that include Nokia, LG, Motorola to name a few. , Straight Talk offers great nationwide coverage and excellent reception and connectivity.

Secondly, my phone bill can be cut into half and I can use the money saved to visit them occasionally!  That would be great, right?  Okay, now the benefits, it includes heavy phone users such as me.  The “All You Need Plan” is great for me, it comes with 1000 minutes, 1000 texts and 30 MB of web data.  Wow..this is more than enough for me!  call a friend, call many friends, they are limitless!

Monthly charges as low as $45 only and we can get all the unlimited calls, text, picture messaging, web plus free activation, international long distance calls and many more.  Read all about it in their Straight Talk website.  The list seems endless and I feel this is a perfect plan for the young and old, for mothers like me.  My kids always tell me ... mom knows best!  LOL

Max On Life

I love Max Lucado's books, they are so simple to read, not complicated and the most important is that, the words speak to me. Easy understanding, yes, that is Max Lucado. I first heard about Max through my cell leader, she told me that if we want to read books about spiritual growth, we don't have to search far, just look for Max Lucado's books. He has a gift of writing and I believe that he writes it with God in his heart.

In his latest book Max On Life, again he answers our heart's desire on the word "Faith." Faith is unseeing, as in a Christian life, "Believing is Seeing"... seeing God's works in our lives. Max has written this book with so many spiritual based answers on more than 150 questions posed. In a christian life, we have many questions which are left unanswered, reading this book, it enlightens us and make a better understand on our Almighty God. We all have a choice, to read and to follow. God gives us a choice, He will help us when we have chose and He will continue to guide us through.

This book Max On Life is highly recommended to both christians and non-christians. I am sure we will have a better understanding on our spiritual life after reading this book.

The Benefits of Listening to Good Music

When you feel tired and a little stressed out. Take a seat, play your favorite tunes and let your mind be away from all the worries even for just an hour so. You’ll be surprised to feel more relaxed afterwards. This is the power of good music; it can soothe your senses and your mind. There is a certain “magic” in songs that can actually make you feel better. Researchers and medical professionals even consider listening to music as a good form of therapy.

Too much stress and a series of tragic events could send a person in a depression. This behavior that could disrupt one’s daily activities can be treated. Try listening to good music that brings back happy memories. Let it set an uplifting mood that could help you forget the traumatic experiences and focus more on the happy ones.

Those suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease could also benefit from listening to music. There are some health care facilities that offer music therapy sessions to old people and studies show that patients show positive response while listening to familiar tunes that often bring them back to their younger years. This helps them remember the past moments in their life.

If you are having a hard time trying to sleep, a few relaxing songs can relax your nerves and mind. This can stimulate a good sleep which is also vital in order to achieve a healthy body. Who would think that an activity as simple as listening to music could provide your body with a number of benefits?

I Cannot Serve Two

It has been a few days since I last posted here.. like I said earlier, it is not easy to maintain two blogs especially when I do not have much time to do posting and hopping at the same time.

I thought of deleting this blog and starts all over again..... maybe I will do that when I retire... lets say in another few years time..

Right now, I am still occupied... seriously occupied... working at day in office and working at night at home...

Real tiring...

I am still thinking what niche I should put here...

I believe in HIM... but did I focus much on HIM?

I guess I did not practise what I read.... nor hear....

Please forgive me.....

A servant really cannot serves two masters...

One will get more attention than the other...

I must not be overly occupied in blogging...

Teach me how not to do that...

Thank you...

Port St Lucie For Us

This morning while I was having breakfast with my friend, one of the topics we talked about was retirement, in fact, we were discussing about our retirement. Both of us are in our early fifties now, in a matter of two or three years, we are officially retired. In the midst of our conversation, I could sense that she was quite worried about her financial situation in another three years time. None of us would like to retire if we do not have enough money to spend, right? It is quite worrying especially now as we see that inflation is sort of "hitting" us in our everyday's life.

But it is a different story if our savings are enough when we retire. From what I read in this website, Americans are very well taken care of when they retire at the age of 55 to 70. They are wise in spending and thus when they retire, the funds for old age is already taken care of. That is when they start to enjoy life to the fullest and one of them that provides great easy living is Port Saint Lucie real estate. This beautiful resort-style community offers great facilities and amenities that you can ever dream of. They include a wide selection of lifestyle programs to suit your interest and they are specifically developed for active adults to pass their time with joy and pleasure. From what I read in this Port St Lucie information website, you can even access to their stunning championship golf and learning facilities in their PGA Golf Club, you can start by becoming a resident club member. Not only that, they include a fully equipped Talavera wellness center as well with a range of athletic classes and lifelong learning programs to occupy our minds. I guess this is a good place to enjoy our retirement age if we do not have other interests in mind, somewhere we can relax after years of working pressure. It is indeed a time to look for pleasure for the remaining years of our lives.

Dream Centre, DUMC

I have been to Dream Centre, Damansara Utama for a few times, I love the place, big, serene, peaceful and the best thing is, the sanctuary is for worship....

Recently published in the papers was a raid by JAIS and it sort of shocked many of us. From the papers it said that the dinner was "disturbed" by a group of 20 or more officers from the department accompanied by police as well... if I were there, I could be taken aback by the "shock."

Lets not take the law into our own hands, pray for intervention from our Lord and everything will be at a peace understanding...

Praise The Lord..
