I have heard of cases like.... when something bad or serious happen in a family, be it the loss of a love one or some incurable sickness or accidents occur, the first question one would normally ask is "WHY?, WHY DID IT HAVE TO HAPPEN? WHY ME? WHY??"
For a non believer, one might take it as fate... it is fated to happen...so it is an unlucky day.. so on and so forth. But for a Christian, one might not be able to take it and naturally blame it on God. And for some, they will just have to accept the loss and allow God to have full control of the situation.
As Christians, we must remember that God has not promised us that our lives will be easy and indeed, it may not be. BUT He has promised to sustain us in our struggles and uphold us with His mighty arm. We must trust Him. No matter how difficult trials we may have to face, never fear or give up. God will never allow us to be pressed beyond endurance. That is His sure promise.
In trials we face, God is our comforter...
